Jointly organised by IEEE NUS Student Branch and NUS ECE Club, RoboticsFest 2015 aims to spur innovation and problem-solving skills through the creative application of knowledge in engineering and science. This year, the event will be held in NUS Faculty of Engineering on 21 March. Students from Polytechnics and Universities are welcome to join the event.
The competition comprises Humanoid Marathon and 5v5 Simulation Soccer for Polytechnic and University participants; and SumoBot Contest and Autonomous Line Tracking Vehicle Design for Secondary School and Junior College categories.
The top three places in each category carry cash awards of $300, $200 and $100 respectively, as well as trophies and certificates.

The RoboticsFest is jointly organized by NUS Electrical and Computer Engineering Club (ECE club) and IEEE NUS Student Branch. It is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to learn the principles of computer science, engineering technology, and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Students design, construct and program the robots to participate the competitions within a confined space, which usually locates inside the NUS campus.
Through these competitions, our team hope to help the youth to better understand and appreciate, with interests, the scientific concepts and technological developments involved in robotics. We believe that the Robotics Fest can help to generate interests in robotics in the young minds, which in the future will fuel scientific and engineering skills that ultimately develop into research outcomes to serve mankind in a variety of ways.

To promote the development of autonomous multi-agent robotic system that can cooperate with each other and to contribute to the state-of-the-art technology improvement in this specialized field.
